Our Body Image as a society has taken a battering over the last decade especially. Our relationship with food and how we see ourselves has become intrinsically linked with what our bodies look like. We live in a society where how flat our stomach is and how little we can eat is celebrated without realising the impact this has on our mental health.
I specialise in Body Image Coaching because until recently, I had never met another woman who could say she didn’t want to loose 10lbs to be able to feel more comfortable in her body. This has been normalised for too long.
I see women beating themselves up about what their body looks like, stuck in the binge and restrict cycle, yo-yo dieting, emotional eating and putting themselves at the bottom of the pile. This leads to long term stress, anxiety and missing out on life!
I coach women to improve their body image, their relationship with food (this gets battered along the way) and ultimately their relationship with themselves, the only relationship we can guarantee we will have for life.
There is so much conflicting information out there, so together we really break it all down and assess what is stopping you from living the happier and healthier life you would love to have. It has been my pleasure to work with multiple women aged 15- 60 years old and see them transform from continually beating themselves up about what their body looks like and holding guilt for the food they eat, to acceptance, appreciation for their body and no more emotional binge eating!
